Zonetrooper you must be crazy man. Either you havent played COD4 or you were on crack while playing it, because COD4 is simply one incredible game. It would'nt be this successful if so many people did'nt think it was good. It is quite possible that COD4 is more popular than Halo 3, many gamers seem to think so.

Hold on - I've already read on IGN that both versions display solid framrates even with a lot of figures and action on the screen at once. Having said that, I'd like to play Crysis on my PS3, it does look very good.
I have to agree with you there to some degree - there just seems to be too many FPS games around here these days. Many new very potentially excellent games thats hyped up generally tend to be first-person shooters, I personally think the market is getting a little saturated with this genre. I dont mind good FPS (COD4 was excellent!) but I think the industry just needs to cool it a little bit, not every gamer loves to play FPS all the time. We need more multi-genre games out here!
It doesnt matter if GTA started life on the PC's. GTA III in 3d graphics started life on consoles - the PS2 namely. Thats where GTA's massive worldwide success and appeal really began, starting with GTA III on the PS2, followed by Vice City and San Andreas. So your point is totally irrelevant.
By the way I thats why I play games like GTA - to live out my gangsta lifestyle fantasies without having to do those things in real life, like killing other people. So yeah I proved my "gangsta rep" by killing other gangs in GTA San Andreas etc!

Unchartered: Drakes Fortune just shows how powerful the PS3 is. The graphics in that game are just stunning. Allegedly, it has been stated that the PS3 only uses 30 % of it's power to run Unchartered.If that is true, then thats something amazing to know. To be honest, I personally think games like GTA are not suited for PC gaming, these types of games are best played on consoles and control pads. Call of Duty 4, looks just slight better on the PS3 in my opinon. I saw the the Xbox 360 version, COD4 looks just a tad more realistic on the PS3 with slight better textures.
Look all i gotta say is that I'm yet to see a game on the 360 that matches Unchartered - I'm no fanboy, but thats currently the BEST LOOKING game on a next gen console right now!
